Overview:
Recruitment approaches and methods are continuing to evolve. Post pandemic, virtual interviews (especially first interviews) are increasingly common as is ‘blind recruitment’ and competency based interviews. Equally common is the uncertainty that often surrounds what employers must and should do as part of the recruitment process to ensure approaches are modern, inclusive and meet the expectations of applicants in 2025.
We are commonly asked, for example if is appropriate to circulate interview questions in advance ? Are time limits on interviews acceptable ? Can we define ‘cultural fit’ ? Should we ask identical questions of everyone to promote fairness and Equality ? What should I reasonably adjust for disabled candidates ? How can we track bias in our recruitment practices ?
McKenzie offer a one day, modern, interactive and engaging event designed to impart the very latest information, approaches and thinking in this area with the aim of transferring the necessary knowledge skills and confidence required to promote modern and inclusive approaches to recruitment.
This is, by far, one of our most popular events with many of our partner organisations choosing to deliver this to all managers with the aim of truly embedding Inclusive recruitment practices across their organisations.
