This event explores what Inclusion, Diversity and Equality is, its importance in the modern workplace and an exploration of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to value difference and promote inclusion to both colleagues and service users / customers.   

Event Style:

McKenzie provide a modern, interactive and engaging Equality and Diversity training event using the very latest development tools including tablet computers for delegates, interactive workplace case studies and a quiz exploring facts relating to diversity and equality.

We aim to engage both hearts and minds in respect of valuing difference and the benefits that diversity of opinion and experience can bring to both teams and organisations.

  • The changing profile and diversity of the UK workplace – especially in respect of Age, Gender, Race and Disability

  • The business benefits of embracing Equality and Diversity

  • The benefits of diversity of opinion / background i.e. the value difference can bring to both teams and organisations 

  • Key barriers to embracing difference including unconscious bias and preference for our own ‘norms

  • Exploration of how social attitudes and language have evolved and how it affects the expectation of employees and service users in the 21st century
