Formed in 1996 by Isabel McKenzie, McKenzies set out to be an equality and diversity consultancy with several key differentials which we still operate today in 2013 as part of our overall mission and values:
We focus exclusively within the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion
We only employ or engage consultants and facilitators who are qualified experts within their respective field of equality diversity or inclusion
We design and develop meaningful, engaging, interactive and practical training. We substitute ‘talk and chalk’, lectures, role plays, flip charts and videos for fun and modern methods of learning and engaging people at all levels within organisations
We constantly seek new information and creative approaches to ensure we remain at the leading edge of our profession
We want people to enjoy learning about an important subject they may perceive as being 'dry' or unimportant to them
We employ a team of people who work with our partner organisations at a national level. We work with enthusiasm and passion with our customers (our company mission statement) and have experience of working with in excess of 400 UK organisations from PLCs to smaller businesses both within the public and private sectors.
In addition to training and development, we provide a complete range of consultancy within the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion which includes specialist areas such as cross cultural awareness, disability, dignity at work and promoting Equality and Diversity in Procurement .
