Call/email us to book

Overview:

Introduced in 2001 and revised in 2006, The Equality Standard For Local Government is a tool to allow local authorities to mainstream equality and promote excellence (via measurable outcomes) within employment and service delivery.

Divided into separate levels of achievement, the Equality Standard requires local authorities to perform Equality Impact Assessments, publish Corporate Equality Schemes and Plans, consult with employees and service users and monitor and measure outcomes. Achieving the different levels of the standard can be both complex and time consuming.

McKenzies have worked within this area since the introduction of The Equality Standard and have helped many of our partner organisations to achieve their corporate plans and objectives.

We offer different workshops – specifically focussed to each level of The Equality Standard.

We use modern and engaging learning techniques and can supply ready made documentation and user guides to assist all involved with the process.
